October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month AND Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I WAS a victim of both and now I am a SURVIVOR. I am dedicating these five episodes in October to:

It's the 4th week of October! In this week's Awareness episode, my conversation is with a woman who has become a cheerleader for women who live with domestic violence and now helps them to find their voices.

But that was not always the case. She, too, lived in fear for herself and for her children. She had to find creative ways to protect them from the insanity brewing in her household.

Like Hansel & Gretel's breadcrumb trail, April T. Giauque discovered points of light that God was leaving as a trail for her to follow on her journey to escape the darkness.
